Wine English - For amateurs and professionals of wine - Material + Videocall meetings

This is a 1 month course for people who work in wine, or just love it: sommeliers, wine waiters, wine tourism guides, students of hospitality...
No doubt you know wine well. You don't need to learn about wine, you just need the terminology in English, because you've got international guests or colleagues who are interested in knowing more about:

- the wine's story - geography, climate, grape variety and vinification methods
- the wine's flavour profile
- which foods it pairs well with: including the names of ingredients and cooking styles

This is a blended course (not a varietal!). It's a combination of:

- 1 month's connection to 1 of the 3 modules in the Wine English suite of modules. These are interactive, multimedia modules with a trainer to support you, guide you, give you feedback and correct your writing. The module includes a wiki-glossary: click on key terms in the text/videos to see the definition and hear the pronunciation. A module takes about 20 hours to complete
- 5 hours of videocall meetings with your specialist trainer. These are 1-to-1 meetings, so you work on the areas that are most important for you. The scheduling of these meetings is flexible, so you can fit them around your work schedule.

The 3 modules available are:
- General wine English (3 levels): Everything from viticulture to vinification, pairing and service.
- Wine Service English: Flavour profiles, pairing, cooking styles and ingredients, customer service
- Commercial Wine English: Pitching a wine, on-trade vs. off-trade negotiation, import/export incoterms
