Intensive weekly course

Myself and 3 other friends (aged 22/23) are travelling South America and all have varying levels of Spanish (A1-B2). We had participated in a language school before in Uruguay, which was great but we really struggled with the large class sizes and the large age range (those that were a lot older wanted to work at a very different pace to us). Speak Mendoza was so accommodating for us, especially as we only enquired the week prior. We loved the social aspect - the quizzes, welcome lunch, wine tasting, etc. The location was very safe and close to the park and plenty of restaurants. They provided us with lovely snacks each day, whether that be media lunas or cake. Loved Flor and James.

We very much enjoyed our classes with Emilia Bello, she always spoke in spanish and was very patient when we made many errors .She intrduced us to a lot of grammar but also allowed a lot of time for talking . James, the owner was so helpful and ensured our experience was fun with a lot of extra curricular activites .The other teachers, Florencia and Augustina weere charming and welcoming .
Our home stay with the delightful Sylvia was perfect, she spoke no English which was perfect, we met many of her family, she cooked delicious meals for us and ate with us, chatting and laughing most of the time. We had a 20 minute walk to school, which we enjoyed . We certainly would recomend staying with Sylvia .

I have two point to ask for attention (1) I bought a 4 daily hours on group course and I only received 2 individually hours. It´s ok, but I only knew few days before going (2) The website were I bought te course, said that I would receive 1 month of online course prior to the start of my face-to-face course and this did not happen. In general, I really liked the school. Good location and I was very well received by everyone. The teacher focused on dialogue, guiding me through my deficiencies. They also gave me tips for visiting the city, and even made it flexible on a school day when I wanted to go on a trip.

I took a week of Spanish classes at Speak Mendoza and was very impressed by the great atmosphere while at the same time I learned so much and improved my very basic language skills enormously. The teachers had a good feeling of which contents to teach in which speed and were always open to questions. The learning groups are very small which makes the learning process very intense and efficient. The extra activities were great - we went to an international night at a Pub together and were able to practice our Spanish with locals, we got a „How to make Mate“ session and also went on a wine tasting tour together. I would highly recommend this language school, I really enjoyed learning there!
